To put it bluntly — it’s hard, but it’s also fun. You will grow as a writer, you will change as a writer, and you will run into difficulties. Most students who consider an MFA in Creative Writing do it because they love to write. Also, their experience in previous education rightfully leads them to believe they’re good at it, so this seems like the ideal path for them.
