Introducing A New And Creative Publication Called Symbolic
This is a solo publication that focuses on bringing a unique perspective to readers
1. Purpose
I hope for this publication to serve me as a writer, and readers alike. It’s a platform that I can publish on freely. No wait times, no imposed editing — anything I want to write and share, I can make happen. This is only possible in a publication like this one, where one writer is in charge only of their own writing and schedule, and no one else.
For readers, it offers authenticity and unadulterated opinions, directly from the writer. It also creates an independent eco-system, where there is no possibility for competition or comparison among different writers within publications.
The topics covered may be broad. I tend to be a big-picture thinker. I’m not interested in focusing only on one specific subject. There will be experiments and explorations. But there will always be a focus on quality and insight.
2. Graphic
The image used for Symbolic is in alignment with its mission statement. It shows text, the vessel in all writing, through which everything else travels. Behind the text is a background, made up of various effects and distortions.
