A glimpse into my life
Dear Readers,
I’m 37 years old and started writing on Medium during May of 2021. I live in Seattle, WA. I have enjoyed sharing over 200 stories about movies, mental health, relationships, history, and other topics.
I am happily married with a three-year-old son. I hold a BA (Western Washington University) and MFA (Adelphi University), where I focused on poetry — plus a Google Data Analytics Career Certificate. I’m also a lifelong learner, always exploring new subjects on my own.
I currently work full-time as a writer, editor, and HR specialist for a web development and software company.
Some of my passions and hobbies include piano, guitar, movies, fitness, video games, reading, travel, and my family. I am especially passionate about music. I sometimes give piano lessons and recitals, and act as a volunteer group organizer and leader for workshops and performance groups. Here is a recent video of me improvising on the piano.
